Re: Linux version logbook
Hi Merciana
Depends on how fast a learner you are. I guess you can cover the core topics in a year but would you be good enough to get a job as a sysadmin ?
Most Linux people I know learned by themselves as they went along and they never stop learning.

Re: Linux version logbook
Well done you - fly the flag for Open Source !
I guess you'd be looking at a web-based logbook.
There is this one
http://www.onlineanaesthesia.com/Index.php
and this one is not quite ready but will appear soon:
http://www.auratus.co.uk/
Hope that is helpful.

In November 2008 we held our annual meeting in Bath. The scientific sessions were held in the glorious setting of the Assembly Rooms, while the for...

Re: Web-based Anaesthesia Rota Management
OK, sorry, I wasn't quite getting it. If the underlying DB structure is well-defined and easy to replicate in (say) MySQL then that would be an excellent starting point and would probably account for at least 30% of the effort of the project. Question is whether you'd be willing to share this...

Re: Web-based Anaesthesia Rota Management
Depends what you see as the primary role of the rota.
You need some way of publicising who is doing what list, where and when.
You're talking about the "extended role" of the rota and that is where it gets controversial.
