Depth of anaesthesia monitors (E-Entropy, BIS and Narcotrend)

Wow - staggered by the breadth and depth of last year's public consultation on this :

I couldn't make it further than page ten before I began seeing spots in front of my eyes (wonder what my E-Entropy was showing at that point) but can anyone say if this consultation has been helpful ? Seems like a casual nod (no pun intended) in the direction of BIS with the competing technologies described as "broadly equivalent".
