ITU Handover

Yeah! Finally getting a meeting with IT about their proposal for the electronic handover system which at present is NOT auditable or adaptable. Any suggestions of how best to have it accessed through out Intranet? Currently it's an Access ?2010 database launched from the Intranet which I believe is Microsoft Enterprise running Internet Explorer 8.
